Description We're eBays' largest clean quilt store selling only clean American made antique quilts!  Anyone can sell quilts, but few can professionally hand launder them, as we do! Check our store for 200+ quilts @ Buy-It-Now prices and feel free to make us reasonable offers!  Be sure to read "Why We Hand Launder Quilts" located under our store heading.  Thanks for looking!  Steve & Stephanie   Click on this "Me" icon to go to our me page for exciting news!     This FABULOUS Applique quilt dates to the 1850's and is HAND PIECED and HAND APPLIQUED using solid Turkey Red and overdyed green fabrics for the pomegranit type applique, feather, grape & grapevine appliqued borders, and bright white cotton for the background.  The Westmoreland County, PA maker even put a 1/8" wide piping inside the binding!  This quilt measures 78" x 78", has a very thin cotton batting with a few seed fragments, a hand applied binding (a couple nips on one end only near the fold line), and a white back.  HAND QUILTED with diamond quilting over the applique blocks, half feather quilting around each block, and triple angle quilting across the deep borders @ 7 stitches per inch.  The maker also embroidered a tiny leaf sprig (less than 1" square) and the initials "F J" inside the border.  PROFESSIONALLY HAND LAUNDERED, we find no rips, tears or odors, just a couple tiny spots on the back only.  A CLEAN, GRAPHIC, RED & GREEN APPLIQUE QUILT ~ WHAT MORE COULD A COLLECTOR ASK FOR?????   We accept PayPal, with a confirmed address   Returns are allowed ONLY if the item is NOT as described or pictured AND the request is made within 24 hours of receipt of the merchandise.  No Shipping or Handling fees will be refunded unless there is an error in the listing.   Sales Tax will be charged to winning Ohio bidders.     Created by eBay Blackthorne ver. 3.2.119.0 Place a Bid!
