Ground & beautifully polished Pontil. Wear marks evident on base confirming age (see clickables for detailed images).  This gorgeous Globe has been handled with kid gloves for over 100 years and has NO chips, cracks or any signs of damage.  Heavy hand blown glass is thick, clear and crystal bright with only a few very small bubbles.
