The flowers are painted with incredible skill and details. The top of this gorgeous etui opens to reveal a thread holder. The top of the thread holder opens and out pops a tiny pair of scissors! The scissors fit perfectly into the thread spool and are as sharp today as they were when they were made 100 years ago! Scissors are stamped: GERMANY. Thread spool for three colors of thread. Opens and closes securely. Bottom of etui is stamped: Sterling 935 Germany. The thread spool is also stamped: DRGM & it is hard to make out but what I think is: VERSILBERT.  Guaranteed antique. Great condition - No:  Damages, Repairs, chips, flakes, cracks or dents! One tiny ding to the enamel that can not be seen with the naked eye - I had to use the magnifier! Mentioned for accuracy!
