HORNER ELEVEN PIECE DINING SET, GARGOYLES IN 1/4 SAWED OAK.  THE TABLE IS 60" IN DIAMETER WITH SCROLLED LEAF PATTERN,  INCLUDED ARE 4, 20" LEAVES WITH APRON THAT HAVE BEEN MADE BY A NATIONALLY KNOWN FURNITURE RESTORER HERE IN SAN ANGELO.  THE BASE OF THE TABLE IS FABULOUS, 4 LARGE WINGED GRIFFINS, ONE ON EACH LEG AND THE TABLE DOES HAVE THE CENTER LEG INSIDE THE PEDESTAL. THERE ARE EIGHT CHAIRS THAT HAVE THE GROWLING FACES CARVED ONTO THE BACKS, 6 SIDE AND 2 ARM CHAIRS.  THE BUFFET IS SOOOO BODACIOUS, WONDERFUL WINGED GRIFFINS AND A CHERUB IN THE CENTER PANEL.  THE BUFFET MEASURES 28" DEEP, IS 70" WIDE AND STANDS 69" TALL WITH THE ORIGINAL FINISH.  THE CHINA CABINET HAS THE WINGED GRIFFINS, PAWED FEET AND LEAF SCROLLS AROUND THE TOP, MIRRORED BACK AND 4 PLATE GROOVED SHELVES, THE ORIGINAL FINISH.  THE CABINET MEASURES 54 3/4" WIDE, 20" DEEP AND 69" TALL.  ALL PIECES ARE BODACIOUS, REMEMBER ALL OF THESE PIECES ARE OVER 100 YEARS OLD, AND NO FURNITURE FINISH THAT OLD IS PERFECT! When I was a little girl, my mother and her sister (my aunt) would tell me, "we are going antiquing". This was in the 1950's. Over the years they aquired many really fine antiques. Unfortunately, they both passed away (ages 93 and 87) in the past year and left me with a multitude of items. I can't possibly keep all of them. Rather than have an auction, I have decided to list a lot of them on ebay.
