This listing is for this antique Navajo Indian Rug with an original "Certificate of Genuineness", United States Department of The Interior Tag attached. The tag is attached with a wire and lead stamp that reads U.S. NAVAJO. Rug measures approximately 33-1/2" x 58", and is in excellent condition, other than the fact that it is missing one of the corner "tails". One thing of interest, the border on one end is done in brown wool (might be horse hair) instead of black like the rest of the rug. Very nice example of an early Navajo rug.
