This is the perfect "raspberry" to give someone. Sign is original and old and is made of wood that has been painted black with white lettering. Great piece of FOLK ART. Funny because one gets the impression that is but one raspberry instead of many raspberries. I think the farmer just did not have enough room to complete the plural. Sign is two sided, which accounts for so many photos, and measures 34" by 24" high. Has three holes across top for hanging. Weathered and grundgy. This sign originally came from Almont, Michigan and I remember it hanging on the outskirts of the village when we first moved North to the Thumb of Michigan. This is Americana at its best.
