Arjuna. This mask signifies a member of the Pandawa family struggling for control over the kingdom of Hastinapura. The god Arjuna was infamous for his unique beauty. As several Indonesia cultures arose in conjunction with religious activity aimed at complimenting ritual artifacts, considerations of beauty arose, which now took the form of religious activity in artistic form; And often with mysterious expressions thought to be symbols of supernatural beings used to invoke the ancestors.
